# How does partner deal registration work?

## Register an opportunity to protect it for your company.

Deal registration protects an opportunity for the partner who found it.

1. **Register the deal** in the partner portal at [go.evelcra.com/portal/register](https://go.evelcra.com/portal/register?hsLang=en) (partner login required). Give the end customer, country, products of interest and the opportunity details.
2. **Confirmation.** You receive an email confirming that we received the registration.
3. **Decision.** We review every registration and decide within two working days. You receive an email telling you whether it is approved.
4. **Approved registrations** are protected for your company. Next, agree the scope with us so we can prepare the quotes.

A registration is usually not approved when the opportunity is already registered by another partner or already in progress with Evelcra. If you think we have missed something, reply to the decision email.
